Paediatric dermatology

Specific diagnostic and therapeutic measures for child-like skin

Childlike skin can be affected by inflammation, allergies and tumours, just like adult skin. Nevertheless, childlike skin is not the skin of "small adults". Certain substances that are easily used by adults are not tolerated by children. The skin and immune system react differently in particular in young children. Many skin diseases therefore have a different appearance in children than in adults. Some skin diseases even occur just in childhood and require special diagnostic and therapeutic measures.

Our main points of treatment in paediatric dermatology are, among others, neurodermatitis, acne, hay fever, allergies, warts, birthmarks and haemangioma and the treatment and care advice for acne in adolescents.
